1.11. Known problems

1. tt_news version 1.5.x or higher is incompatible with the most (not tested all) extensions depending on a prior versions of tt_news (a version < tt_news 1.2.0). If you're using such an extension, I suggest to save your settings & templates and update to the current tt_news version. Most of the features from extensions for prior tt_news versions are now part of tt_news itself.

1. Do not install this extension on TYPO3 prior to version 3.6.2 because it requires the flexform features which are not present or buggy in earlier TYPO3 versions.

1. In TYPO3 versions below 3.8.0 the titles of the related-news and the category titles are not displayed in extended list view in BE. You'll see only the text "N/A".

1. The old var-name for the single view page "PIDitemDisplay" does not work for links to related news in the default setup(since tt_news 1.6.3) please use the new name "singlePid" in your TS.  

2. Depending on the installed MySQL version it can happen that If you open tt_news again in the extension manager after installing it, the extmanager will show a "Table error" concerning the default values of the uid columns (with MySQL > 4.x  in TYPO3 3.7.1 and lower and with MySQL > 5.x in TYPO3 3.8.0 and lower ).
   You can savely ignore this message because its reason is an error in the extension manager which has no influence on the FrontEnd output of tt_news.

3. "direct preview" with the save&preview button doesn't work in editforms of non-public versions of news articles -> use normal "version preview" instead.

4. "direct preview" works only in the "Live" workspace.
